Amazon has introduced Nova Act, a general-purpose AI agent capable of controlling web browsers to perform simple tasks. This new technology, developed in Amazon's San Francisco AGI lab, comes with the Nova Act SDK for developers to create agent prototypes. Nova Act will also enhance the upcoming Alexa+ version of the popular voice assistant. Early tests show it outperforming agents from competitors like OpenAI. Designed for automating tasks like ordering food, Nova Act aims to improve the usability of AI agents, addressing reliability issues seen in existing models.
