Google Wallet Now Available for Kids' In-Store Payments
Google has introduced a new feature allowing children with Android phones to make in-store payments using Google Wallet in select countries, including the US, UK, Australia, Spain, and Poland. Parents must give consent for adding payment cards, and they will be notified via email for each transaction. The Family Link app enables parents to manage their child's spending and access. This move positions Google to compete with Apple's Apple Cash Family service, which offers similar functionalities. However, online purchases remain restricted for kids.
