Krisp Launches AI Feature to Transform Indian Accents to American on Calls
Audio startup Krisp has announced a new feature that uses AI to convert Indian English accents to U.S. English during calls. The technology maintains the speaker's original voice while adjusting phonemes for better comprehension. Following successful tests in enterprise environments, a beta version is now available in the Krisp desktop app. Co-founder Arto Minasyan cited personal experiences as motivation for the innovation, which aims to enhance communication. Despite some initial imperfections in voice processing, Krisp anticipates improvements. The company plans to expand accent support and release mobile applications this year.
