MAB Robotics has introduced the Honey Badger, an amphibious robot dog capable of traversing both land and water. This innovative machine is designed for various rescue operations, showcasing impressive underwater capabilities. Co-founder Jakub Bartoszek highlighted enhancements in its locomotion systems, allowing it to navigate diverse environments. With a payload capacity of 2 kg and operational temperatures from 0°C to 40°C, the Honey Badger can reach depths of 100 meters. It aims to assist in inspection and maintenance tasks in flooded areas, demonstrating the evolving role of quadruped robotics in critical missions.
