Nintendo has announced the development of Virtual Game Cards, enhancing game portability for the upcoming Switch 2. This feature allows users to transfer digitally downloaded games between devices more easily. Scheduled for release in late April, Virtual Game Cards will operate similarly to physical game cartridges. Players can lend games to their Nintendo Family Group via local wi-fi, with an automatic return after 14 days. Although the launch date for Switch 2 remains unconfirmed, anticipation builds for more details in the upcoming Nintendo Direct on April 2.
