Nvidia Expands U.S. Manufacturing for AI Chips
Nvidia has announced plans to establish over a million square feet of manufacturing space in Arizona and Texas aimed at ramping up AI chip production domestically. The company has commenced the production of its Blackwell chips in Phoenix and is building supercomputer plants in Houston and Dallas. Mass production is expected to increase within 12-15 months, with ambitions to generate $500 billion in AI infrastructure within four years. CEO Jensen Huang emphasized the importance of U.S.-based manufacturing for enhancing supply chain resilience and meeting rising demand for AI technologies.
