Tesla Faces Eighth Cybertruck Recall Over Detaching Panel
Tesla's Cybertruck is under recall for a potentially hazardous issue involving a nine-foot-long stainless-steel trim piece known as the 'cant rail.' The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced this recall affecting over 46,000 units manufactured between November 2023 and February 2024. Reports indicate that the adhesive securing the cant rail may fail, leading to detachment while driving. Following a recent incident where a trim piece flew off a vehicle at 75 mph, Tesla is set to offer free replacements. This marks the eighth recall for the Cybertruck, raising safety concerns further.
