Tesla Recalls 46,000 Cybertrucks Over Risky Windshield Panel Issues
Tesla has announced a recall for approximately 46,000 Cybertrucks due to a defect involving an exterior steel trim panel that may detach while the vehicle is in motion. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported that Tesla identified 151 warranty claims related to this issue since January. While no accidents or injuries have been reported, the company plans to fix the problem at no cost by using a more resilient adhesive and a clamping mechanism. This marks the eighth recall for the Cybertruck, amidst ongoing challenges in meeting production expectations.
