Dara Khosrowshahi has stepped down from the board of Aurora Innovation, a self-driving truck technology company, to concentrate on his role as Uber's CEO. His resignation, effective immediately, was noted in a regulatory filing and was not due to any disagreements with Aurora. Khosrowshahi joined Aurora’s board in 2020 after Uber sold its self-driving unit to the company, investing $400 million and acquiring a 26% stake. Uber continues to collaborate with Aurora through its freight platform, despite also partnering with another self-driving startup, Waabi.
