YouTube Launches Affiliate Program in India with Flipkart Partnership
YouTube has introduced its affiliate program in India, allowing creators to tag products in videos and earn referral fees as the festive season approaches. The program partners with Walmart-owned Flipkart and Myntra, expanding product access for creators. With over 400 million users, India is YouTube's largest market, boasting more than 110,000 channels. Creators must have at least 10,000 subscribers to participate. This move follows successful affiliate initiatives in the U.S. and other Asian markets, aiming to enhance product discovery across all video formats.
