Airbnb Introduces Total Cost Display for Easier Booking Decisions
Airbnb has addressed a long-standing user complaint by displaying the total cost of stays, including all fees, upfront during property searches. Users will now see prices before taxes with a clear label stating, 'Prices include all fees.' This feature, tested since 2019 in select regions, is now standard globally. In 2023, Airbnb expanded its price display capabilities to include filter options and listing pages. Additionally, the platform is launching tools for hosts to compare pricing with similar properties and see guest payment details before taxes.
