Adobe Launches Firefly AI Video Generator Ahead of MAX Event
Adobe has unveiled video generation capabilities for its Firefly AI platform, allowing users to create AI-generated videos through text-to-video and image-to-video models. The web beta is free and offers videos of up to five seconds. Additionally, the Premiere Pro beta app features 'Generative Extend,' which can extend video clips by two seconds while maintaining background audio. Adobe emphasizes that its AI tools are designed to enhance, not replace, creative workflows, addressing concerns from artists. The platform ensures 'commercially safe' media by avoiding sensitive content.
